I'm really surprised that up to now, Olay are still giving free 8g Olay Total Effects sampler. Last Friday while strolling at the mall we saw this poster on Watsons that Olay are still giving free sample just by texting 7SIGNS TO 29762. So we tried it and in an instant they texted us this:

Computer Trick...

Do you like to joke around your household or office work? Try this new trick on your own computer at home or friends at the office and it will surely give them a headache... lolz

Just follow this procedure...

1. Take screen shot of your desktop by pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard. Paste it to MS Paint application or Adobe Photoshop then save it to your computer.

2. Set that picture as your computer background by going to your desktop and right click your mouse then click properties, then browse the picture then click apply then ok

3. Hide the desktop icons by going to desktop then right click your mouse, go to active desktop and uncheck Show Desktop Icons.

4. Laugh as your friend/family tries to click on their desktop' folder/files 1000 times and then complains about their computer is not working / broken.



I did this today to my officemate computer and she's having a hard time figuring it out. She is still clicking on Start and click on My Document to access her desktop. Nyahahahahahaha (^_^)

Menstruation Leave once a month...

This will be a good news for us female employees both in private and public sectors if ever it will be approve by the senate.

"A bill seeking to grant mandatory menstruation leave for all private and government female employees in the private and public sectors has been filed at the House of Representatives.

House Bill 4888, known as the “Menstruation Leave Act of 2008,” was initiated by ARC (Alliance of Rural Concern) party-list Representative Narciso Santiago III.

Under the bill, all female employees, regardless of the nature of their employment, except those pregnant and menopausal, should be entitled to a one-day menstruation leave at half wage remuneration every month."

It will be an additional to our benefits and a one day additional DAY-OFF a month from work is a big help on our menstrual period day especially for those women who are having dysmenorrhea.

The bad news is that they will only pay HALF of our daily wage =(

David Cook FIRST concert in the Philippines...

I was really excited when I found out that David Cook, American Idol Season 7 champ, will have his FIRST CONCERT here in Manila. I'm really happy that he will perform his concert here and we will have a chance to hear his superb voice especially when he will sing his HIT song which is Mariah Carey's "Always be my Baby..." I really love it! =)

So mark your calendar, January 27, 2009... get ready and COOK will conquer Manila. We have plenty of time to save money for his concert... hehehehe
